The City of Coos Bay has contracted with Knife River Materials to repair a storm drain and install ADA improvements at the intersection of S. 5th and Bennett Street. Due to the location of work, the intersection will remain closed throughout the week for the duration of the project but open on holidays and weekends. It is anticipated the work will commence on Monday, September 26, 2002 and extend through the middle of November. Detour signs for pedestrians and vehicular traffic will be in place throughout construction. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone.
