A 23-year old Grants Pass male was arrested late Monday night, March 21, after he allegedly robbed the Subway restaurant on Hwy. 101 in Brookings at gunpoint. Alexander M. White was arrested without incident at the Motel 6 in Gold Beach after police located the suspect vehicle in the parking lot. He was charged with Robbery in the First Degree and lodged in the Curry Co. Jail at Gold Beach. White is also a suspect in the recent armed robberies of Subway restaurants in Grants Pass and Medford and also the robbery of a Papa Murphy’s in Grants Pass.
