CBPD release – The Coos Bay Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Super 8 Motel, 1001 N. Bayshore Drive, in Coos Bay. On Monday, May 21, 2018, at approximately 5:00 pm, an unidentified adult female entered the motel’s office and robbed the motel at gun point. The suspect then left with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running out of the south exit of the motel parking lot towards Bayshore Drive. The suspect is described as a white female adult, approximately in her 20’s or 30’s, approximately 5’08” tall, thin build, and dark hair. She was last seen wearing a light colored, Volcom brand hooded sweatshirt with the Volcom logo on the front, a black baseball cap, sunglasses, dark colored jeans, and a large silver purse. At this time no suspect has been identified and the public’s help would be greatly appreciated.
