News release CCSO. On December 10, 2016, at approximately 0953 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies were advised of a burglary that had been interrupted at a residence on Sherry Barbie Lane in Lakeside Oregon. The victim, a 24 year old male from Lakeside reported that he had gone to another family member’s residence on Sherry Barbie Lane and when he arrived he found a male subject he did not know, inside the shop. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect pulled a firearm and put it to the victims head and ordered him into the shop and onto the ground. The victim’s hands were bound behind his back with a bungee cord and the suspect placed the firearm to the back of the victims head and ordered them not to call law enforcement. The suspect then fled the scene in a dark SUV. The victim was able to describe the suspect as a white male adult, about 6 feet tall or taller and balding. The case is still ongoing at this time.
