State Senator Arnie Roblan (D-Coos Bay) was appointed Senate Deputy Majority Leader for the 2015 Legislative Session at the State Capitol in Salem Friday, Nov. 14. Sen. Roblan previously served as Co-House Speaker when he was a state representative from the South Coast. His appointment came during the Senate Democrat gathering at Salishan Resort near Gleneden Beach on the Central Oregon Coast. Peter Courtney (D-Salem/Woodburn/Gervais) was once again named Senate President.
