(Coos Bay, Ore.) — On August 10, one lucky person will win a new, 2018 Starcraft Comet travel trailer! The raffle, which benefits the Kids’ HOPE Center will take place during a celebration at Gib’s RV, complete with free hotdogs, live radio coverage, and lots of fun. Gib’s RV generously donated the travel trailer to help raise funds for the various important programs at the Kids’ Hope Center. The Center is the Child Abuse Intervention Center for Coos County. It supports families and child abuse victims through the provision of an all-inclusive Center where forensic child interview and medical examinations take place. Guardians and victims are offered support navigating the challenging legal prosecution system. Intervention and advocacy services are provided to families through referrals and follow-ups with partnering community agencies, initiated by Kids’ HOPE Center staff. These programs are funded almost entirely by grants and private donations, so we are especially grateful for the generosity of Gib’s RV. Raffle tickets are still available!
