The City of Coos Bay authorized Johnson Rock Products Inc. to perform a sanitary sewer line replacement project on Fillmore Street between Pacific Avenue and Blanco Avenue. The crew will perform this work beginning on Monday, November 28th and is anticipated to last a month. This work will require this section of Fillmore Street to be closed to through traffic for safety reasons. Drivers should anticipate traffic delays throughout the project timeline as necessary for the repair. The construction crew will take all precautions and necessary actions to minimize the disturbance to surrounding owners and vehicles. Parking on street along Fillmore Street will be restricted during the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm. The Street will be open at the end of each day after 6:00pm and during the weekend. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within the construction zone area.
