The City of Coos Bay is currently working on a sanitary sewer line replacement project on South 10th Street. For safety reasons, South 10th Street between Anderson Avenue and Elrod Avenue need to be closed to thru traffic for a portion of this work. Traffic will be detoured around this work zone from 7am until 6pm August 9th & August 12th. See below for the detour route. There will be no on street parking within the closed portion of S 10th Street while the project is underway. Flaggers will be onsite directing traffic. The flaggers will work with the people needing to access Blossom Gulch School and the residents who live in the area to ensure safe entrance and exit within the work zone, however traffic delays are expected.
