Coos Bay Boat Building Center will hold their annual Santa’s Workshop Saturday, Dec. 2, 10:45 a.m., 198 Newmark Ave., Empire District of Coos Bay. Participants age 8 to 80 are invited to build and decorate a model wooden boat. parents should accompany young children. There is no charge for the workshop; donations will be accepted. BBQ hotdogs, chips and beverage will be served. The Center is located at 100 Newmark Avenue on the bay adjacent to the Empire boat ramp. Come join the fun! The workshop will follow the annual membership meeting which begins at 10am. A report on the past year’s activities and accomplishments and a preview of 2018 events will be presented by President Tom Leahy. Board elections results will be announced at the meeting.
