Seafood Exec Sentenced, July 26

A former executive with Pacific Seafood Group has been sentenced to two years in federal prison following his conviction for embezzling an estimated $900,000 from a company that paid him a six-figure income as a vice-president.  Andrew Henry Jacobs worked for Pacific Seafood Group for eleven years.  He was VP of Employee Leadership & Development when his crime was discovered.  He was ordered to pay $352,000 to Pacific Seafood, and another $126,000 to cover the company’s cost in retaining an accounting firm.  Jacobs will also have to pay nearly $82,000 in taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.
