Oregon State senior quarterback Sean Mannion will serve as a camp counselor at the Elite 11 Quarterback Camp at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Ore. The five-day event begins July 5. The Elite 11 Camp features 18 standout high school quarterbacks from around the nation that have been evaluated through a selection process at regional events earlier this year. Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer will serve as the head coach. “As one of the nation’s top quarterbacks Sean is a great addition to the Elite 11 finals as a counselor,” Dilfer said. “I look forward to tapping into the wealth of experience and knowledge he has to share with the high school participants.” Mannion enters his final collegiate season on track to break the Pac-12 Conference record for passing yardage. The three-time co-team captain has 10,436 career yards; just 1,838 yards shy of former USC standout Matt Barkley. Mannion broke the single season league mark last year with 4,662 yards and set numerous OSU records, including most touchdowns passing in one year with 37.
