The search continued Wednesday for an overdue hunter from Coos Bay missing in the wilderness of eastern Curry Co. in the Agness area. Forty-one year old Shawn Higgins was last seen Friday, Oct. 14. He didn’t arrive at a designated meeting point and then his son Trevor Higgins went looking for him. However, he also got lost but was rescued on Tuesday and air-lifted to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay suffering from hypothermia. Search teams from three counties have been participating in the search for the father. They will resume at daylight today.
