Another, rare to Pacific Northwest waters, Clubhook Squid has been found washed ashore on the North Oregon Coast. The first one was found in late July just south of Cannon Beach. Less than two-weeks later, a second Clubhook Squid was found deceased on the beach near Neskowin. Researchers were able to take measurements and tissue samples. The two found were less than five-feet in length. A mature Clubhook Squid can reach up to 12-feet in length.
