CCSO release – Divers redeployed Tuesday morning June 2, 2020 in an attempt to attain better visibility than the previous night, and to finish searching the area around the last known point that 17-year old Ian Spalding, North Bend, fell into the ocean. Unfortunately, they were unable to find anything, and again had to discontinue the search. It has been brought to our attention that the PR from last night spelled Ian’s last name as “Spaulding” when it is in fact “Spalding”. The author has been made aware of the mistake. Our continued thoughts and hopes go out to Ian’s family and friends.
