Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Wednesday evening’s two-vehicle serious injury traffic crash that occurred in the 1500 block of Lake Shore Drive east of Selma in Jos ephine County. According to Sergeant Tyler Lee, on June 11, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m., OSP was notified of a two-vehicle head-on crash near 1577 Lake Shore Drive east of Selma. Preliminary information indicates a 2005 Dodge pickup driven by SUZANNE VAUTIER, age 54, from Selma, was traveling on Lake Shore Drive negotiating a left curve when a 2001 Daewoo passenger car driven by ASHLEY ACREMANT, age 22, from Grants Pass, crossed the centerline and both vehicles collided head-on. VAUTIER was transported by ground ambulance to Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass with minor injuries. ACREMANT was extricated by Illinois Valley Fire District firefighters and transported by Mercy Flights air ambulance to Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford with serious injuries. The cause of the crash is continuing to be investigated by OSP troopers from the Grants Pass and Central Point offices. The highway was blocked for two hours.
