SALEM, Ore.—The State Forests Advisory Committee (SFAC) will meet in Salem on March 8 at 8:30 a.m. This is a hybrid meeting and those interested can attend in person or via Zoom. The State Forests Advisory Committee will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oregon Department of Forestry (Tillamook Room), 2600 State St., Salem, 97310. Opportunity for public comment is on the agenda and is scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Agenda topics include: Draft habitat conservation plan and forest management plan for Western Oregon state forests project update; Overview of Fiscal Year 2025 annual operations plan; Implementation plan revision considerations for Fiscal Years 2026-27; Planning for SFAC meeting and field tour in May.
