Shooting Investigation Drain, Dec. 30

On December 28, 2021 at approximately 6:30 PM, Roseburg Police Detectives were called to assist in an officer involved shooting investigation in Drain, Oregon. During an initial investigation by another law enforcement agency, a male suspect was shot and fled the area with a female associate. A subsequent search of the area conducted by numerous agencies resulted in the capture of both suspects. The male was transported to a local medical facility where he received medical treatment. The Douglas County Major Crimes Team continues to investigate and there is no known ongoing threat to the public.
