Shooting Investigation in Crook Co., June 9

According to OSP Sergeant Roberto Robles, on June 7, 2015, at about 8:00PM, the Crook County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a shooting at a residence north of Prineville. An adult male was transported to St Charles Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound. The Tri-County Major Crime Team was activated to assist with the investigation which went through the night. All involved parties in the incident have been contacted and there is no threat to the community. The Tri-County Major Crime Team consists of members from the Crook County Sheriff’s Office, the Crook County District Attorney’s Office, the Oregon State Police, the Bend Police Department, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, the Redmond Police Department, and the Warm Springs Police Department. The investigation is continuing. The names of those involved and location of the incident will be released when doing so does not interfere with the investigation.
