On July 31, 2020, Grants Department of Public Safety responded to Three Rivers Medical Center for a female that had been shot. The victim was identified as Julie Names (43) from Josephine County. Hospital staff made every effort to revive the victim but were unsuccessful and she was pronounced deceased. The Oregon State Police Major Crime Team was called and responded to the hospital. The man, who drove the victim to the hospital, was detained and interviewed as a potential suspect. The suspect, Travis Albins (41) of Josephine County, was arrested today and charged with Unlawful use of a Weapon and Manslaughter I.
