On 4/6/21 at about 10:00 pm, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 39000 block of Row River Road. Initial calls to 911 reported a medical emergency at the location. Before medics arrived, additional calls were made to 911 reporting an active dispute with shots fired. Deputies responded with assistance from Oregon State Police and Cottage Grove Police. Everyone involved was cooperative with responding law enforcement officers. No one was shot during the incident, however, two of the four victims were transported by ambulance for non-life threatening injuries. One of the victims was also experiencing an unrelated medical issue that started before the dispute. The involved persons were known to each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the community. Warren Lee Colbert, 54 years old, was arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail on multiple charges including:
Attempted Assault 1 x2; Unlawful Use of a Weapon x3; Assault 4 APA Misdemeanor x2; Assault 4 Misdemeanor; Strangulation APA; Menacing APA x3; Menacing; Reckless Endangering x3.
