The COVID-19 virus count at Shutter Creek Correctional Institution in Hauser was 13-inmates and two-female employees as of Monday, April 27. The inmates range in age from 35 to almost 80. They were all reportedly in the same barrack at the old Air Force base north of the Bay Area. The employees have been sent home. One showed the classic symptoms, fever and a cough. The other had congestion and a loss of taste and smell.
