A bridge maintenance project will result in daytime lane restrictions on the US 101: Siuslaw River Bridge in Florence. Beginning Monday, December 15, 2014 and continuing through Thursday, December 18, travel across the bridge will be restricted to a single lane and controlled by flaggers between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. During that time, an ODOT bridge crew will be making improvements to the deck attachments at the end of the lift spans. A Snooper Crane will be positioned in one lane of the bridge to allow the crew to safely work beneath the bridge. ODOT will also place staff at key locations adjacent to the bridge to monitor traffic. Should lengthy queues develop, immediate changes to the traffic control will occur. Motorists should plan on delays no longer than 20 minutes.
