ODOT Alert, Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, 4:04 p.m. ODOT: SW Oregon: A widening sinkhole in Harbor (MP 358) requires a full detour of U.S. 101 for public safety. ODOT will move traffic to the detour at 9 p.m. Advance signs along U.S. 101 in Curry County will direct traffic to the local detour. Travelers will need to reduce speed and use extreme caution along this detour. Expect delays. Motorists can expect 5-10-minute delays using the U.S. 101 detour south of Brookings. ODOT currently estimates this detour will remain in place at least through the first week of February, depending on weather conditions.
