City of North Bend release – What an unforgettable evening at the Sip N Stroll “Liberty Theatre 100th Anniversary!” Friday night, downtown North Bend was buzzing with excitement as over 400 attendees came together to celebrate. It was a night to remember, especially with the 100th Anniversary Celebration at The Liberty Theatre – Home of Little Theatre on the Bay, featuring the vibrant sounds of “The Throttles” band. Participants also got their first sneak peek at North Forty in North Bend with its renovated patio space, dining and game rooms, and band stage. The Little Theater on the Bay’s board members also took an opportunity to show off its new ADA-accessible bathrooms, added spaces for rehearsal and dressing rooms, and the theatre’s most recent addition, its neon blade sign — and its 2024 Oregon Heritage Excellence Award for its efforts to preserve the state’s heritage. North Bend Main Street also honored centennial buildings that have stood the test of time, including iconic spots like The Bungalow Market, Liberty Theatre, and North Bend Powersports (former home to Cutlips Ice Cream). A massive thank you to all who joined us and the more than two dozen businesses and nonprofits that opened their doors to make the night special. Your energy and enthusiasm brought our community together in the most beautiful way. Special shoutouts to our North Bend Main Street Board, our dedicated Downtown Manager Stephanie Wilson, and all the amazing City Staff and Volunteers whose tireless efforts ensured everything went off without a hitch. We couldn’t have done it without you! Please enjoy the photos from the event, capturing the fun moments and smiles from the evening. Thanks again, North Bend! Let’s keep making memories together.
