CCSO release, 9/8 (Monday) – The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public not to call our dispatch center or 911 in regards to the smoke in the air in Coos County. The smoke is from several wildfires that broke out over night in surrounding areas and counties. The drifting smoke will be in our area for the next few days due to the predicted wind.
