Marshfield’s boys claimed the title of the 2021 South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament at Coos Bay Saturday with a 67-53 win over Redmond in the championship game. Marshfield’s girls took fourth place with a 24-19 win over Brookings-Harbor. North Bend’s girls finished seventh with a 52-42 win over Hidden Valley and the Bulldog boys lost the fourth place game to Junction City 53-33. Philomath won the girls title with a 38-31 win over Crook Co. Marshfield’s Mason Ainsworth was named the tourney MVP, and Philomath’s Sage Kramer was named the girl’s MVP.
