Coos County payroll employment rose by 50 jobs in April. Leisure and hospitality had the largest gain among published industries, adding 60 jobs over the month. Employment trends were generally positive with small to moderate gains estimated in many industries. Over the year, the county added 480 jobs for a gain of 2.2 percent. Curry County payroll employment rose by 90 jobs over the month. Leisure and hospitality also accounted for most of the gain, up by 40 jobs. Over the year, Curry County payroll employment rose by 60 jobs, a gain of 1.0 percent.
