Bullards Beach State Park Trails – Saturday, October 20, 2018, Take a 5.4 mile hike along the trails at Bullards Beach State Park. From the parking lot we will hike through a closed section of the campground, then up Pearl’s trail. From there we will hike north through part of Three Mares Loop to the North Loop Trail, then hike south back to Pearl’s trail and our starting point. This hike is rated moderate to difficult due to soft sand conditions. If it’s been raining you may need waterproof hiking boots in some areas. Plan on 2.5 hours for this hike. Restrooms are located at the beginning and end of the hike. Pack a lunch to enjoy along the way or at the end. An option will be offered if anyone wants to do a short hike. We will take Pearl’s Trail to the beach and walk back on the walkway.  This will be about 3 miles, and pretty level after the first elevation gain. NOTE: Well behaved dogs are welcome on this hike, but we do ask that you keen them on leashes. Because of gorse, and other paw threatening plants, it’s best to keep them on the trail.
