Southern Oregon DUII, August 1

An adult female is facing a charge for DUII following her involvement in a single vehicle injury traffic crash on Highway 199 north of Cave Junction in Josephine County. On July 30, 2014 at approximately 4:39 p.m., A Chevrolet pickup driven by ROSE SALLEE, age 51, from Grants Pass, was traveling on Highway 199 near milepost 23 when it traveled off the highway and struck a tree. SALLEE was extricated by Illinois Valley Fire District firefighters and then transported by Mercy Flights air ambulance to Rogue Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Initial investigation led OSP to cite SALLEE for DUII. Recruit Trooper Doug Krell is the lead investigator. OSP was assisted at the scene by Illinois Valley Fire District, AMR Ambulance, Mercy Flights, and ODOT.
