Southern Oregon Motorcycle Fatal, March 17

Oregon State Police (OSP) is continuing the investigation into Saturday afternoon’s fatal motorcycle crash along Highway 199 near Selma in Josephine County. The crash resulted in the death of a 47-year old Grants Pass man.  On March 15, 2014 at approximately 5:29 p.m., a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle operated by the victim was northbound on Highway 199 near Hogue Drive when the operator lost control, traveled off the highway and struck a stump. The operator was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene. He was wearing a protective helmet.
