The Southwestern Oregon Community College Board of Education has an immediate opening for a new board member. Board Position #5, held by Tim Bishop since 2013, is now open following Bishop’s September 30, 2016 resignation. Position #5 expires June 30, 2017. Voters will choose a permanent board member in the next Special Districts election. Interviews may be scheduled for Monday, October 24, 2016.
