Southwestern hires new Vice President of Administrative Services, August 7

Southwestern Oregon Community College is pleased to introduce our new Vice President of Administrative Services, Eric Stasak, to the community. Mr. Stasak’s previous position was Vice President of Administrative Services / Chief Financial Officer at Klamath Community College (KCC) which he held since 2012. While at KCC, Eric assisted in the construction planning / approval process and launch of the KCC Culinary Academy, implemented a new and collaborative college-wide budgeting process, and helped KCC achieve the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 2012 – 2014 annual financial reports. Additionally, Eric has worked as an investment educator, financial and business consultant, and homebuilder. He has worked internationally, spending 10 years in acquisitions and new company start-ups with ALCOA in Germany and Ireland. Eric graduated cum laude from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Eric will be living in the Coos Bay/North Bend area with his wife, Dalene, and his children.
