News release SWOCC. Southwestern Oregon Community College’s TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) club will be hosting a fun for all Zombie run/walk through Southwestern’s Coos campus at 1988 Newmark Ave, Coos Bay, OR. Parking is free in the main parking lot. The event will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Registration for the walk/run will start at 7:00 pm. Registration fee for the activity is a suggested donation of $10 and a waiver will need to be signed. The Zombie Dash will be through a haunted path on Southwestern’s Coos campus. All ages are welcome. Anyone under the age of 18 will need adult supervision to attend. Directly after the dash is our Monster Bash starting at 8:00 pm in Empire Hall. The Monster Bash will be an all ages affair complete with apple bobbing, a frightful cakewalk, haunted goodies for your sweet tooth, music, and other fun activities like pumpkin bowling. If you would like to only attend the Monster Bash a suggested donation of $5.00 is recommended but make sure to bring some extra cash for tasty treats. The Monster Bash will end with a costume contest complete with prizes at 11:00 pm. All proceeds support service learning opportunities for the TRiO SSS students at Southwestern.
