Southwestern Launches Brand Refresh, Feb. 2

Southwestern Oregon Community College has launched a refresh of its brand identity, unveiling a modernized logo. Southwestern’s refreshed logo retains the iconic lighthouse that serves as a beacon to the community but has been updated to a modern graphic. The logo continues to represent the college’s mission to provide quality educational opportunities for the lifelong learner. The college’s previous logo had been in use for over 30 years and, while it served us well during that time, had become dated looking. Tagging Southwestern as “An Oregon Community College” is a nod to our unique location and fond feelings for where we live and work. Southwestern is a special place, unique in the world of community colleges with the feel of a private university, rather than a commuter college. We are proud to be a part of the Oregon Community College Association (OCCA), and we share a special camaraderie with our fellow Oregon community colleges. “The refresh of our brand identity was done thoughtfully and with the help of a professional marketing firm.
