The History and Legacy of Sigmund Freud – SWOCC release – Coos Bay, OR – Southwestern Oregon Community College and the Anthropology & Sociology Speakers Series proudly announces a special presentation “The History and Legacy of Sigmund Freud” on May 25, 2023 at 6:00 pm in Eden Hall on the Coos Campus (1988 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay). This lecture is free and open to the public. Join as we explore the blending of history, art, and all things Freud. Psychology Professor Cheryl Davis visited Vienna recently and brings back to us a tour of Freud’s home and beloved city. History Professor Fred Brick and Art Professor James Fritz will join the discussion exploring the influence of art and war on Freud’s work and present-day Vienna.
