Save the Date: June 23, 2015 – The goal of community development is to help people help themselves! Please join other engaged citizens and rural community leaders at Southwestern Oregon Community College for an informative and inspiring program to explore the process of how a community builds economic development by first developing its people. Social science researcher Dr. Vaughn Grisham will share the details of his research and his own lessons learned. There are two opportunities to participate: 1) An interactive afternoon workshop. 2) An evening lecture. Both events are free to the public. The evening event requires no R.S.V.P. Please bring friends and colleagues who you think might benefit.
