Even though the “Yes” votes won Ballot Measure 6-166, the Coos Bay School District bond request, Tuesday’s “Unofficial Returns” won’t be finalized for two to three weeks. That’s how long the Coos County Election’s Dept. has to certify the election. Local officials expect the process will be completed and certified by Nov. 22nd at the earliest or Nov. 27th at the latest. The measure is aimed at improving district schools.
