OSU Master Food Preservers are Spreading the Word about Savory Spreads and Sauces. The community is invited to join them for a four-hour workshop on March 10th where they will demonstrate making delicious spreads and sauces that will satisfy both your sweet tooth and your savory side. Participants will do a hands on lab where they will get to make and take home their own jar of sauce or spread. The Sweet & Savory Spreads & Sauces workshop is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oregon State University Extension Office in Myrtle Point. Cost is $10. Call 541-572-5263, extension 25292, to register.
