Stand Up! For the Bay, 9:00am – 2:30pm, Sept. 27, Coos Bay Boardwalk. Stand up paddle, canoe, or kayak, in the bay along a route that is designed for ease of travel, with consideration of tide and wind direction. Stand UP! For the Bay is a community paddle event, and celebration of national estuaries day. Participants will launch from the northern public dock, and from the Eastside boat launch. After the paddle route is complete, a luau and informational fair will be held on the boardwalk complete with children’s learning activities. Food will be provided by local vendors.
