SALEM, Ore. – An Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) state forests advisory group will hear an update and have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the ongoing Western Oregon State Forest Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) on December 9 in Portland. The State Forests Advisory Committee will meet from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9 in Portland at the offices of ICF, 615 SW Alder St., Portland to learn about and reflect on the Western Oregon HCP products to date. Specific topics of discussion include: The plan area and permit area; The covered species list; The Mission, Vision, and Goals of the HCP; The Draft Biological Goals and Objectives. The meeting agenda will be posted at http://www.oregon.gov/ODF/Board/Pages/SFAC.aspx. The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities.
