ODF release – SALEM, Ore. – The State Forests Advisory Committee will meet Friday, April 8 via Zoom starting at 9 a.m. The committee will hear updates on the draft Western Oregon State Forest Habitat Conservation Plan and Forest Management Plan as well as an update on the Santiam State Forest post-fire restoration strategy and the associated Fern Ridge forest management project. There will also be updates on the Marbled Murrelet Species Management Plan and a discussion of public use restriction changes related to fire hazard mitigation.
