SALEM, Ore. – An Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) state forests advisory group will meet virtually Thursday, Sept. 17 to hear an update and solicit feedback on the Western Oregon State Forests Habitat Conservation Planning process. The State Forests Advisory Committee will meet 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, and the meeting will be livestreamed on ODF’s YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/c/oregondepartmentofforestry. The meeting will focus on the HCP conservation strategy, and information set to be presented to the Oregon Board of Forestry in October as part of helping the Board determine whether to move forward with an HCP. The meeting agenda is posted at https://www.oregon.gov/odf/board/Pages/sfac.aspx.
