The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is submitting an expedited State Plan Amendment to expand Medicaid coverage of telehealth and telephone services in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Oregon is requesting a retroactive effective date of January 1, 2020. OHA welcomes public input. However, due to the urgent nature of this issue, OHA will submit the SPA as soon as possible (no later than March 31, 2020). To learn more, read the public notice from OHA.
