Annual Land Board Awards also will be presented. At the beginning of the June 12 State Land Board public meeting, two awards will be presented for exceptional projects in Eugene/Springfield and Coos/Douglas counties: Stream Project Award: Willamette Confluence Restoration Project, sponsored by The Nature Conservancy; Partnership Award: Tenmile Lakes Basin Partnership, Coos and Douglas counties. The meeting agenda includes requests for board approval for: A direct sale of 63.1 acres of subsurface minerals and geothermal rights in Marion County; The Oregon Department of Forestry 2019-21 budget request for managing scattered Common School Fund forestlands; An updated Annual Report on Common School Fund investments and distributions to schools; A request to approve the Department of State Lands’ proposed 2019-21 budget request. The meeting will be held: June 12, 2018, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Department of State Lands, Land Board Room, 775 Summer St. NE, Salem.
