Marshfield and St. Mary’s Medford were named co-champions at the 4A/3A/2A/1A OSAA State Speech Championships held April 22-24. Marshfield coach Kayla Crook was named Speech Educator of the Year. Her colleagues recognized her early efforts in providing a blueprint for the virtual competition this season. Pirates senior Kaylin Dea was an individual State Champion in HI.
