CCSO release – On April 12, 2021 at approximately 10:46 pm, two Coos County Sheriff’s Office Reserve Deputies working patrol in the Barview area initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Wallace Road near Robinson Lane. During the course of the traffic stop, the involved vehicle was found to be a vehicle reported stolen from Coos Bay. The operator of the vehicle, Jerad Slagle was in possession of a criminal amount of suspected methamphetamine as well as over $800 in US Currency. The suspected methamphetamine and US Currency were seized and Slagle was referred to the District Attorney’s Office for Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Criminal Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.
