Story Walk Vandalized at North Bend, May 25

A program aimed at encouraging reading and walking took a hit in North Bend recently. The North Bend Library’s Story Walk Program’s first effort in the outdoors had picture books located along Ridge Trail at Simpson Park with the second planned for the North Bend Boardwalk. However, vandals hit the Simpson Ridge Trail Story Walk Picture Books. NB City Administrator David Milliron, “Some of the pieces are irreparable. It’s such a shame that this happened, when we were getting so much good attention for it.”
