A Border Collie that wandered away during a Christmas Day Hike on the North Oregon Coast, was found and rescued the next day.  “Felix” went missing on Monday, Dec. 25, but was located Tuesday morning by Hamlet Fire Chief Matt Verley who deployed a drone to locate the dog north of Indian Beach in Ecola State Park at Cannon Beach.  Rescuers determined the only way to reach “Felix” was by scaling a cliff face with ropes.  Seaside Fire Lt. Genesse Dennis retrieved the dog from the crest of the Clatsop Loop Trail and reunited him with his owner from Seattle, WA.
