CCSO release – On December 20, 2020 at about 1:34 PM, The Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a report from a female stating that she was strangled by her ex-boyfriend, 39 year old Dominque Peters. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office and Officers from the Bandon Police made contact with Dominque on Rosa Rd. in Bandon. As a result of the investigation, Dominque was arrested and taken into custody without incident. Dominque was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked and lodged on the charge of Strangulation.
