City of North Bend release – Knife River Materials, for the City of North Bend will be milling Oak Street between Lewis St. & Newmark Ave. on Wednesday, October 18th between 7 am and 5 pm. This work is in preparation for a paving scheduled for Thursday, October 19th. Oak St. will be closed during these periods with detours on Pine and Ash Streets. Access to Oak will be closed at Ohio St., and Newmark Ave. during the milling and paving operations. Motorists are requested to utilize alternate routes such as Ash St. or Pine St. during this short construction period, or schedule your access for a different day. Note: If Knife River’s scheduled paving date changes, we will let affected owners and the public know as soon as possible.
